Soft shackles functioned as I was expecting, great and with no problems. I've used them to attach tree savers, shackle to sliders and roll cages, and just to winch when someone has siezed d rings. The protective sheath comes in handy and should protect the rope from any sharp edges should it catch one. Can't beat them for the price .

As a single woman traveler safety is a critical point for me. Just having this in my car emergency kit made me feel so more secure that i bought one for a friend.
